What's your favorite American model train company ?...

Recently, I was looking over my model train collection and realized that the majority of my engines and rolling stock are Atlas, so apparently I must be an Atlas man...

So who's your favorite ?.

Your models should be of good quality since most of the Atlas are great. Kato also makes some very good motive power and I have Atlas, Kato and Genesis units if you are listing plastic. I tend to favor the Kadee and Intermountain cars since I model the forties and the fifties. but the newer modern Atlas are really setting new standards. I really do not have favorites as I tend to like most models that run well and are detailed.

I just received three of the new 8-40CW's in Santa Fe with sound. Now these are not in my era for models, but they sounded so good I got them. Atlas may be the premier new builder if they continue with models of this quality and sound.
