Martha Stewart Enters the Model Railroad Hobby
Author: RuleG
NEW YORK, April 1. Shortly after completing her time in prison, Martha Stewart has announced that she would begin producing a line of HO scale model trains. Given the controversial circumstances surrounding the case which lead to her prison sentence, Ms. Stewart decided it would be best to get involved in a business which is not widely known by the general public.

In order to speed up the time to begin operations, Ms. Sewart purchased the Stewart Models from Bowser Manufacturing Company. A spokesman, Stuart Modell, said "Martha Stewart's name recognition will attract more people to the hobby". Current plans are to continue the Stewart line of model locomotives. However, each model locomotive kit will now include include a videotape of Martha Stewart explaining how to paint undecorated models and weather decorated models using common household tools and materials.

Ok. And that layout in the April MR really is on the ceiling.

The funny thing to me is that if she put some thought behind it, she could probably suggest many dozens of ways to create scenery with ordinary materials that we haven't thought of.

I'm convinced that with the contents of an ordinary pantry, the typical kitchen "junk" drawer and stuff found under the car seats, following Martha's advice, one would never have to pay another penny to Woodland Scenics.

nice one.... maybe she will sell her line at K-Mart.... if this is true (highly unlikely) then I would like to know the media source of the article.... ie. NY Times, Routers, LA Times etc...

I am sorry if my post sounds a little mean it's meant to be taken light heartedly.
