I'm fairly new at this, anyway I purchased the polar express set and replaced the engine & tender w/ a tmcc model & I'm thinking of replacing the trucks with diecast trucks?Any ideas on diecast trucks, size,or make? Also does anyone know how to open the passenger cars to gain access to replace the trucks?
How hard is it to do?

A few questions for you. What manufacturer made the set you have? What is "tmcc"? Is this an electric model or a push around with the hand deal? When you say "Die Cast Trucks" do you mean Kaydee sprung trucks?

Ok, now I see why you didn't get any responses. You're in the wrong department. Tell you what you can do. Click HERE and it will take you to the magic land of Classic Toy Trains Forum. Post the question there and I bet you get plenty of expert answers.
Model Railroader Magazine's Forum is about scale models and Classic Toy Trains Magazine Forum is about toy trains.
Scale model trains are true scaled models. Lionel and Marx are considered classic toy trains because they are not true to scale and have been around a lot longer.
