Tonight on 60 MInutes... Pictures of the work I did tonight
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 3:21 AM
Hey guys I was able to run in the basement for an hour and do some layout training. I finished the section of track to comeplte the bridge to the other side, painted it, and scenic the area. I just need to ballast the track, add brushes, trees, sand the roadway I paved tonight, Paint it, add a pile of scrap and I will be there. Then stretch my backdrop out to the edge. So how does it look so far. I have posted a few pictures of before and after and last is my favorite new picture. I like posting pictures. I hope you guys do not mind it?

Planning out what will be where and how much room I have to do it.

Painted the track

Added the ground foam and a little bit of scenery

You can see how I tried to blen the new scene into the old one. I have to fini***he road by sanding and painted tomorrow when the Smooth-it is ready

I really like this new scene. You can see the fire station way in back and the longer mainline. I also had to scenic the lift out bridge so it will blend nicely. The lift out bridge works very nicely to.

Well these are my pictures of what I did tonight. Now I have to go to bed. Good morning.[:D]

Biggie,

I like you scenery work!

Question: I see that signal near the wye. What system are you using to control signaling?

"I like my Pullman Standards & Budds in Stainless Steel flavors, thank you!"

Hi Al,

Nice work. I am just approaching the time when I'll be working on my scenery. I appreciate the pics because I like to use them as reference materials. So anyone who wants to post work-in-progress picstures please feel free.

Good morning. To prepare the base of the grond I did paint, I always paint becase it is a moisture barrier so it will not warp my wood.
Antonio That signal light there is non functional. I just found it when I was rummaging for other things and placed it there.
