The quiet chatting of the very few on watch in their cubicles on Christmas eve.
Eachj trying to remain alert and technically sharp into the fifth hour today of no trouble calls.

Soon to be replaced with sound of melting solder as I continue wiring the layout.

I hear the sound of fans and hard drives on two computers and the faint motion of the printer, all sandwitched in between the TV showing "James Bond - Living daylights"

Listening to the ka-zillionth playing of "Grandma Got Runover by a Reindeer" or any one of the other popular Christmas songs. Give me a good Bign Crosby album of Christmas music instead of this stuff....Gads...."Rusty Chevrolet" and "Santa Baby" are just getting too much!!!

Merry Christmas to all!

Ha ha! Wiser words there are none.

I am listening to Don Gibson's Solitudes, Christmas Album.

Next comes Micahel Praetorius' Christimette with Paul McCreesh and the Gabrieli Consort & Players. We'll be into Bing in no time at all. Except, it is pouring, not snowing.

Merry Christmas, All.

Model Railroading truly relaxes me, and I like my music to match it. Been listening to modern jazz and haven't looked back. I listen to albums from Chuck Loeb, Joyce Kooling, Paul Brown, Jeff Kashiwa...... It's not the "sleepy" stereotype stuff. It's very upbeat and cool. It's the type of music that reminds of me sitting in a speeding train as I enjoy the scenery. I noticed that even some of my "rock oriented" friends like some of the instrumental tunes.

After I build my version of the SCL Champion, I plan on making a video of it cruising on my club's layout. I plan on having Paul Brown's hit tune "24/7" as the background music. At this time, it's still playing on Jazz stations around the country

Funny, I was going to bring this back up last night. [:0]

Currently, I am listening to: Trans-Siberian Orchestra- Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24.

Up next: System of a Down- Hypnotize.

Afterwards: A Perfect Circle- The Outsider.
(Ain't rock great? [:)])

Then, the Nutcracker Suite, composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
(It's Christmas, isn't it?)
