SeeYou190 Track fiddler I'm thinking prototypical photo's should be acceptable here, when in conjunction with the model at hand Can't be 100% sure, but I believe the crane in your real world shots is a Manitowoc model 777.

Thanks Kevin, I'll bet your probably right. Just getting to learn the types of locomotives better, I've no idea on cranes. The crane company was Wells though.
Have always enjoyed the bridge building hobby, but check out this guy's model.

Wouldn't that make a great bridge for an HO layout? Bless that old guy's heart. Gonna have to drive up there and see that one.
More lifters please.
PS Sure enjoyed seeing that beautiful ore loader model in comparison to the Real McCoy Ed. Was that a kit, or did you scratch build that?

I've been feeling like a thing and a lugger, Ed and Kevin, from alot of repetitious up and down off the floor down the hall. Guess I'm still trying to believe I'm still a young buck here...NOT!
I'm thinking prototypical photo's should be acceptable here, when in conjunction with the model at hand
And here's the models.
These model cranes were at the National Model Railroad Show, that only comes through town every 7 to 9 years in Saint Paul. And awaiting for the next one
Just love cranes

And a fine looking coaling tower along with the scene at that!
Gotta show the last Pullman cars that weren't able to be posted on Sunday after Imgur crashed Ed. The Northern Pacific Loewy paint scheme, ...Beautiful!
Probably would have been cheating, as the lettering is rather small on these.
Intermountain is releasing the F7 A,B locomotives that I've been searching for 7 years. Sure hope the paint matches MicroTrains. Spendy but the pre-order is now concrete
This application was Fast-n-Final that was applied about five years ago. Apparently that stuff weathers itself
With the bridge placement revisal, the abutment wall needs a little tweak
More concrete evidence please.

I'll bet some GIs were a bit disappointed when they were promised a ride in a real Pullman car and found out these box cars were their 'golden charriots' for the next couple of days!

tankertoad70Any more express style boxcars out there?
The Pennsylvania Railroad was looking for a replacement for their ageing fleet of B60b baggage cars and built ten of these twin-door replacements. They classed them as Mail Storage cars. I believe only one was painted with the passenger stripes. The cars had steam and signal lines as well as marker brackets:
