Hey all took apart my Key GS5 because I forgot how I wired it about a year ago. I guess when I took it apart I lost the spring for the pilot truck. I tried putting it back together with a spare that came with it but I get shorts, derailments, and sometimes the wheels don't spin. I've tried without the spring, without the washers, and just about every level of tightness I have no idea what the best course of action is. Could anyone point me in the right direction?
Make sure the insulated wheels are on the same side as the insulated drivers. I usually remove the truck springs and add weight to the truck itself. Springs can bind up the truck from moving. It should be held on by a shoulder bolt and washer. If you use a regular threaded screw it will surely bind.

Yes I found a previous thread that sorta had information on this and added some weight to the trucks. Works great thanks though, Pete.
