I am starting out April with a tribute to one of our best that is no longer with us. This is a group of his CB&Q EMD hood unit locomotives.

I liked Fruit Stripe gum too. In fact, just thinking about it gives me the cravings for some which I probably haven't chewed in over 50 years.

I'm surprised they were still using the slogan in 1991 although not the full jingle.
