Track fiddler Fascinating how a photo back enhances an amazing model even more. Fooled me for a moment, before a few more zooms and still have reservations. And that was fun, thanks

dti406Lets try for an articulated or compound engine!
Wearing Pennsy colors but again, not a PRR design. More like a white elephant.
PRR_HH1 by Edmund, on Flickr
The PRR wasn't a big articulated user but wound up with these second-hand Y-3s from the N&W (PRR influenced) and classed them HH1s. They ran out their last days in the Columbus, Ohio area.
More articulateds, simple or compound, please.

Rule 2: I make the rules.
Rule 3: Illuminating discussion of prototype history, equipment and operating practices is always welcome, but in the event of visitor-perceived anacronisms, detail descrepancies or operating errors, consult RULE 1!
dti406Let's try a 10 coupled locomotive.

SeeYou190 Please show me another steam locomotive with six driving wheels. -Kevin
Please show me another steam locomotive with six driving wheels.
I didn't even know what was meant by a six-coupled loco until Kevin posted this.
Here's the latest addition to my roster, a late Christmas present to myself. It's a Bachmann Spectrum Pennsy K4. I've quickly fallen in love with it. It has a WOW Sound decoder and runs smoothly through the entire speed range. Best of all, it has a factory Keep Alive, the first of my locos to have that. I bought two Keep Alives about five years ago but I've been unable to find anybody who knows where to attach them to my early BLI locos with QSI decoders so they remain on the shelf.
Let's move up to 8 driver steamers, please.

This is an Oriental Powerhouse USRA Pacific that I forgot I owned. It was "discovered" while cleaning a couple of years ago.
It is not undecorated, but it is pretty close to it.
