Anyone know if they are still in business? I emailed them and it kicked back.

A lot of this eflats look very similar to ones being sold on eBay.

Their website looks current, although dated 2017.  I notice some of the links on the website are broken.  Did your e-mail actually transmit?  Did you use the e-mail setup under the "Contact" button under the "FAQs" button?

I used both, first regular email and then their form.

That's a shame if they are no longer in business. I have never dealt with them, but I have bookmarked their website for future purposes when I add background scenes and buildings to my layout.

A problem with tracksideflats.com is that there is no phone number or mailing address to contact them. That makes it even more difficult to find out if they are still in business.

I just looked at the web site, hasn't been touched since 2017.

All of the social media links at the bottom of the web page take you to a website builder/creator called WIX.

Nope!  Trackside Flats is no more.

Mike.

Well this is a bummer.  I too had their site bookmarked for future purchases...

tracksideflats are sold on ebay at trackside2020.  Highly rated seller.  No affiliation or prior experience with the store.

GOOD NEWS!

They are NOT out of business!!!

Shipped my Backdrop yesterday, 4 days after I ordered it.

They really need to reply to emails and update their website though.

The guy is kind of local to me. Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, is about 25 miles to the south of me. I've seen him at a few train shows around here and bought some photo/flats for greatly discounted prices since they were right there with no shipping entering into the deal. He's a "no-nonsense" type from my experience but I agree if you're going to rely on e-commerce, communication is a must.

I'm going to try one of his 8' long backgrounds soon.

Good Luck, Ed

I will let you know how they are and post some photos.

Just grateful that someone like him takes the time to provide us with these great items.

Well I received them.

Very carefully packaged and wrapped to avoid any shipping damage.

I have seen this particular backdrop befiore as others have said, but this one looks bigger and brighter and has customizing options.

Also, seems to be of better quality.

The 3D skyscraper/building is a replica of one of the buildings in the skyline I purchased, which is fine. It is also bout 2x larger than its duplicate sibling.

Considering how little I paid for this, I would say if you were going to buy one of the other versions you see of what seems to be similar/same, this version is better.

Just keep in mind, after you receive your emailed receipt, it will be 3 or 4 days before it ships, adn you won't receive any communication responses until it ships. At that time you will receive a shipping notification.

Pretty fast shipping for USPS in my case.
