This was my first attempt at building an N intermodal yard.  The new layout will have some kind of small intermodal yard, but I'm not sure what it will be:

Please show me another scene of bumpers or end-of-track stoppers.

PC U23b, these were ordered by order of the new president of the PC who came from the Southern so they were delivered with dual controls and the long hood designated as the front of the unit.

More U23b's!

Please show another Alco on a passenger train.

How about a couple Alcos on commuter trains. It also has retaining walls in the foreground and backgroound. I staged this photo before learning the Pennsy also ran their RS3s long hood forward.

Stay with Alcos on passenger runs.

Now I would never consider Ed, a sneaky sort of cove, but his request for “American Locomotive steam, “has slightly flummoxed me!Huh?
Will any American built steam locomotive do?
Would another American Locomotive Company built, steam locomotive suffice?
Or is it an ALCO built, 4-4-0??
So, my excuse is that as time has gone by, and as I only have an ALCO built 2-10-2, that will have to do!!

How about any Steam Locomotive, please.
Cheers, the Bear.Smile

Its N&W heritage quite evident this PRR HH1 does sport a Toluidine red Keystone number plate. An honor usually reserved for passenger locomotives:

I picked this Camelback up on ebay earlier this year. It's at least 60 years old but still runs well in DC mode. I have yet to install a decoder in it.
