This one is a favorite of mine.
When Classic Metal Works released this model it filled a gap. It is a police car appropriate for 1954, and without any city or county names on it.
It is perfect for me.

Here's two of my favorites, the neat GMC wrecker and the Mack Mixer painted for the Cleveland Builder's Supply which I recall seeing often. Too bad no one offered a Collinwood Concrete truck. I'd like one of those.

Looks like I'm late again, this time posting my favorite loco. It was a tough choice but I settled on this one because of the back story.
Three years after designing the streamlined Hudson loco for the new lightweight 20th Century Limited, Henry Dreyfuss did the same for the NYC's premiere day train between New York City and Buffalo. The train consisted of fluted stainless steel cars, each named for former New York governors. Hoping to get some free publicity for their newly equipped train, the NYC chose to launch it on a Sunday morning, figuring it would be a slow news day. They chose December 7, 1941. Something else happened that day that dominated the news. Hudson 5426 was on the lead of the initial run and a retiring NYC engineer had the honor of being at the controls from Croton-Harmon to Albany.
Since I got in late, I'll keep Kevin's request for a "favorite little automobile, van, or truck",
Update: I forgot to mention I have two versions of 5426. The one pictures is an MTH model. Back in 1991, Con-cor and Rivarossi issued a joint set of the streamline Empire State Express for its 50th anniversary. Rivarossi supplied the loco and Con-cor the rolling stock. I bought the set although it never got much use on my old DC layout before it was dismantled. The Rivarossi version of the loco is good looking but clearly not up to the MTH version. I parked it on a garden track off my main turntable.
BATMANAnother favourite please.
I do have a favorite, and it is an Athearn Blue Box Trainmaster.

I don't really have a favourite but this little guy hauls 5 cars around the layout for hours on end when I am working on it. I just have to remember it comes by every six minutes.
Another favourite please.

"All of the world's problems are the result of the difference between how we think and how the world works."
I got this one, a gift from a friend, who thought it to be a not-very-good puller...
...but after a few modifications, it easily handle 20 cars.I offered it back to him, but he'd already replaced it with two very heavy 0-8-0s.
This one, another 0-6-0, is on-loan from a friend...

Please show us your favourite locomotive.
Here's a ten-wheeler (does that qualify as a small locomotive?) with a short train heading towards Riverton from Hudson.

A busy grade crossing as there is an interchange track joining at the location where there is also a crossover between the double track main. The crossover facilitates runarounds for pick ups and set outs at the interchange track.
