More of the same, please, a locomotive coupled to a freight car of the same road name.
Ed,
I have a book by an NYC company photographer showing a long string of Pacemaker cars being pulled by a Niagra, very similar to your photo. I always wondered if that was a publicity photo or was it common to run a solid train of these boxcars.
Here's my shot at this theme. An NYBW Mikado is pulling the local freight with several of the road's wagon top boxcars trailing behind it.
More loco's and freight cars from the same road, prototype or freelanced.

The roadnames are different, one is GGYV&N, and the other is MR&T.
I hope I can be forgiven.
Please show me any scene with a crate.

The only barrels I could find on my layout are these fire barrels on the trestle/bridge over the Millcreek Gorge.
More barrels.
John-NYBWMore barrels.
I believe these large barrels are called Hogsheads in the trade:

Yeah, they wear those klompen to keep the Woodpeckers from drumming on their head.

gmpullman More cars at a crossing, please.
A busy grade crossing as there is an interchange track joining at the location where there is also a crossover between the double track main. The crossover facilitates runarounds for pick ups and set outs at the interchange track.
I couldn't decide which view I liked better so I'm posting both

Yes, both are excellent pictures.

OK, and I think this picture covers a lot of recent requests as well. I see a pick-up truck, crates, and barrels as well.
More vehicles at a grade (level) crossing, please.
That's a good-looking scene, John, with lots of depth.

Thanks to all for the compliments. I don't consider myself a great photographer but sometimes I just luck into something good.

I consider a New York Central "tri-power" DES-3 to be a small locomotive:

More small locomotives, please.
Here's a ten-wheeler (does that qualify as a small locomotive?) with a short train heading towards Riverton from Hudson.
I got this one, a gift from a friend, who thought it to be a not-very-good puller...
...but after a few modifications, it easily handle 20 cars.I offered it back to him, but he'd already replaced it with two very heavy 0-8-0s.
This one, another 0-6-0, is on-loan from a friend...
Please show us your favourite locomotive.
I don't really have a favourite but this little guy hauls 5 cars around the layout for hours on end when I am working on it. I just have to remember it comes by every six minutes.
Another favourite please.
