Atlas Industries built the United Scale Models for PFM.

PFM was run by an airline pilot who ran the USA to Japan or Korea route regularly. All his models were from one or the other. I think it was Samhongsha from South Korea
According to Stephen Redding's guide, most of the PFM brass was built by Tenshodo or Asahi. As an exception, the !337 class Pacific was built be Fujiyama; he calls it "an excellent model", and I can confirm that. Even with the original open frame motor, it runs beautifully.

Both of my PFM/United brass locomotive models, a SOUTHERN 4-6-2 & a MA&PA 2-8-0, say "Built by Atlas Industries" on the boxes.
