Edmund asked "more memorable photos, please"
One of my early layout, on the floor. I wonder how much ''fiber tie'' flex track I had used before I discovered plastic tie flex track? Aha, to the left of the base of that black pole light I see two Aurora yellow slot car throttles that I used to control trains. I installed a brass screw in the yellow body that would "drag" on the trigger to keep the trigger at a set speed.

This is one of only a handful of photographs I have of the STRATTON AND GILLETTE from back when it was N scale.

This is kind of memorable and interesting. This is a picture is of my only piece of STRATTON AND GILLETTE equipment that I did not paint. It must have been painted and decorated by someone I made a decal trade with. It popped up for sale on eBay, and I grabbed it. I wish I knew the story about exactly where it came from. I would love to see more of what people did with all the SGRR decals I traded away back in the day.

Hmm, looks like I need to do some roadbed work.

I am quite fond of this one... I like it so much that I use it as my avatar!
Very few private custom roadnames have multi-color heralds. When I finally decided to get one made for the SGRR I went all-out with four colors!
My first set of decals for the SGRR was in 1982. I finally ordered heralds in 2016!
Are there any more favorite heralds and emblems...
