It was done following a similar build in Mainline Modeler, and was considerably more work than the A-unit. Both were sold when I backdated my layout's era.

Mister MikadoThis one deserves a big fat compliment, Wayne. Using a retired loco to display a slice of railyard life. Paticularly special is your choice of parts to depict a scrap job in slow progress, like the stuff laying in the cart and on the ground. A very special scene to admire because it tells a sad story. -Rob
Your kind words are much appreciated, Rob, and yes, it was modelled to represent a sad story.
doctorwayne GP-9_Man11786 Show me more small locos. This one was a donation from one of my father's co-workers, but it never ran well, unable to pull even its own shadow... However, I didn't want to get completely rid of it, so parked it behind the Lowbanks car shop...perhaps a project for the employees in their spare time. Wayne Please show us another derelict car or locomotive, or perhaps a structure that's seen better days.
