BRVRR
More freight cars with visible loads please.

Since the request is visible loads...

Here are a few...

Lumber on a bulkhead flat...

...and lumber in a boxcar...

pipe in a gondola...

scrap in a gondola...

rail in a gondola...

scrap copper wire in a gondola...

...utility poles in a gondola (with a flatcar idler for the over-sized load)...

...industrial tanks in a bulkhead gondola...

...unbundled re-bar in a gondola...

...replacement wheelsets in a gondola...

...vehicle frames in a gondola...

...and leftover dunnage and refuse in an otherwise empty gondola...

...a flatcar loaded with pipe...

...a flatcar loaded with sheet steel...

...and a boxcar, partially loaded (or being unloaded) with sacks of unkown material)...

Most of the glued-together loads are identified as to which cars are suitable to carry them.

Wayne

Please show us some more cars with loads.

Please show two diesels, from different builders, coupled.

I had to stage a new scene to get this photo, with a GMD (Athearn) GP-9 leading an MLW (Atlas) S-2...

I don't know why this E unit it pulling a freight train.

It was common on some roads toward the end of the Es career.

More E-unit locomotives, please.

This is a Model Power E-8A, with a few modifications...

...and a B-unit made from two A-units...

It was done following a similar build in Mainline Modeler, and was considerably more work than the A-unit.  Both were sold when I backdated my layout's era.

Wayne

More E-units, please.

Here's one that's a bridge over a bridge, and if I ever get off my duff and finish the scenery here, both bridges will be over "water", too...

Wayne

Mister Mikado
This one deserves a big fat compliment, Wayne. Using a retired loco to display a slice of railyard life. Paticularly special is your choice of parts to depict a scrap job in slow progress, like the stuff laying in the cart and on the ground. A very special scene to admire because it tells a sad story. -Rob

Your kind words are much appreciated, Rob, and yes, it was modelled to represent a sad story.

Show me more small locos.

This one was a donation from one of my father's co-workers, but it never ran well, unable to pull even its own shadow...

However, I didn't want to get completely rid of it, so parked it behind the Lowbanks car shop...perhaps a project for the employees in their spare time.

Wayne

Please show us another derelict car or locomotive, or perhaps a structure that's seen better days.
