How about that little Atlas station again please.

Four of the seven stations on my layout are those little Atlas stations, like this one in Elfrida...

...while one of the other three is a modified version of the Rico Station, offered by various manufacturers over the years...

The latest station on the layout is at Mount Forest, a somewhat modified version of Walthers' "City Station" (I closed-in the porte-cochere and made it into the local post office)...

...while the largest, by far, it the one in downtown Dunnville...

...which is a scratchbuild.

Since the request is visible loads...

Here are a few...

Lumber on a bulkhead flat...

...and lumber in a boxcar...

pipe in a gondola...

scrap in a gondola...

rail in a gondola...

scrap copper wire in a gondola...

...utility poles in a gondola (with a flatcar idler for the over-sized load)...

...industrial tanks in a bulkhead gondola...

...unbundled re-bar in a gondola...

...replacement wheelsets in a gondola...

...vehicle frames in a gondola...

...and leftover dunnage and refuse in an otherwise empty gondola...

...a flatcar loaded with pipe...

...a flatcar loaded with sheet steel...

This one deserves a big fat compliment, Wayne. Using a retired loco to display a slice of railyard life. Paticularly special is your choice of parts to depict a scrap job in slow progress, like the stuff laying in the cart and on the ground. A very special scene to admire because it tells a sad story. -Rob

This one was a donation from one of my father's co-workers, but it never ran well, unable to pull even its own shadow...

However, I didn't want to get completely rid of it, so parked it behind the Lowbanks car shop...perhaps a project for the employees in their spare time.

Some years ago, I picked up these MDC tender kits for a very reasonable price. I decided to make them into MoW water cars - one each for a couple of fellow modellers, and one for myself.

Great work on the water tanks Wayne.

I am doing something very similar for my work train. I bought this small vanderbilt tender to be the water tank for the train. I was going to mount a pump on the deck and say the oil tank was for diesel fuel for the generator in the following train car.

BRVRR
More small train cars please.

Some years ago, I picked up two of these MDC tender kits for a very reasonable price, and already had the bodyshell (but no cast metal underframe) of another one, acquired much earlier.
I decided to make them into MoW water cars - one each for a couple of fellow modellers, and one for myself.  They're supposedly equipped with a gasoline-powered pump in what was formerly the coal bunker, now completely covered and equipped with a door.

This one's for a friend's freelanced late '20s-era layout...

...this one for another friend's '50s-era CNR layout...

...and the bodyshell-only one, with lots of lead-weights added, for my own EG&E late '30s layout...

While mine is more-or-less the same as the other two, one of the carshop's employees suggested that if the coal bunker were slightly modified, it could double, in the winter, as a covered tender for MoW equipment that was coal-powered (mostly cranes and rotary plows).
In theory, the pump would be temporarily removed, and the coal bunker loaded from any coaling tower, with the roof keeping the coal both dry and not frozen into a solid block.

It's probably an improbable scenario, but I liked the idea of making it look just a bit unique, no matter how far-fetched it might be...

Wayne

Please show another 4-8-4.

This one was originally a Santa Fe locomotive, with a huge eight-axle tender.  I shortened the tender, then used part of a covered hopper to change it into a centipede-type.  The centipede bed used the cut-up and re-assembled original sideframes, with a homemade overlay of styrene, traced from a photo ad in MR for a brass Niagara...

It went to a friend in Wisconsin some years ago.

Show me more small locos.

This one was a donation from one of my father's co-workers, but it never ran well, unable to pull even its own shadow...

However, I didn't want to get completely rid of it, so parked it behind the Lowbanks car shop...perhaps a project for the employees in their spare time.

Please show us another derelict car or locomotive, or perhaps a structure that's seen better days.

PC101: "Show more "smallest Engines."

The most famous small steam engine. Thomas the Tank Engine on an excursion run on the BRVRR years ago.

In case Thomas isn't right for this thread: This little three-truck Shay belongs to my oldest grandson. Its a fussy little thing, but kinda cool.

More small engines, steam or diesel.

Remember its your railroad

NorthBrit asks ''More smallest locomotives''.

My smallest Steamer, I thinkHmm. The tiny ones are hard to keep track of. Sometimes I can blow their whistle to find them.  PRR #2790, 0-6-0 dropping of a load of coal at Oly's coal yard.

Show more ''smallest Engines'' please.
