Thanks for kicking off the last weekend of April and first of May WPF, Kevin! Great Stuff as usual!
I like your idea of "just running" to get the wheel treads shined up, Garry. Sometimes we get so involved with projects we forget to take a break and Just Run Trains! I like the "busy" activity around your depot.
This week I took delivery of an A-B set of PRR FP7s. This is the only FP7 on my roster.

The PRR had quite a few "EFP15"s with 42 As and 12 Bs, and used them in general passernger service. I like the distinctive, round water tank these engines prominantly displayed. I cracked them open so I could add a backup headlight to the B unit. Had to open the A unit to figure out the wiring off the decoder board to wire the B unit backup light..

I simply trimmed an 8 pin JST plug to fit in to a 6 pin socket
Don't tell the experts but that's a 3" pipe flange from a Walthers refinery piping kit for the headlight bezel.

I continued on more signal work and I'll have photos of that in a future update.
On to more gerat stuff!
Cheers, Ed.
Kevin .... Thanks for starting Weekend Photo Fun. It looks like you have a unique boxcar.
This week, I continued running my 4-8-2's with passenger trains. Here is the CB&Q locomotive with a train arriving in Black Hawk.

Happy weekend everybody.
I have another new ficticious roadnamed freight car purchase to share this week.
I believe this Athearn PENN FALLS boxcar is from the NMRA Heritage Line. It does not have the original box. The box that came with the model is labeled for an undecorated hopper car.
OK, not the best start ever, but it is the start. Weekend Photo Fun is active for another weekend of shared photographs.
Let's have some fun!
