The Office of Naval Intelligence over in Suitland MD does brisk business in tracking all of the ships that don't turn up on the maritime tracking websites.

China shipping has greatly improved!  I ordered some tiny header connectors on March 30 and they arrived this afternoon (April 8).

Much smaller than I expected, that’s good!

EDIT:

The first thing I checked is if the pins are removable so that I can polarize them, the pins came out easier than in the larger header strips.

Evidently it matters from which company you order from. I ordered some traffic lights through Amazon from a Chinese company on March 3 and the expected delivery date is April 19. Just guessing but I would bet the difference is whether the item is shipped by mail or in a bulk shipment in a shipping container that is now waiting off the port of LA waiting for its turn to be unloaded. The last update I have regarding the shipping status is that it left the carrier facility on March 10. I don't know how long it takes for a cargo ship to cross the Pacific but I am quite sure it isn't six weeks.

They passed through LA Customs pretty fast, probably because the ship unloading is at a stand still.

Lets hope China doesn't finally decide to invade Taiwan as they appear to be threatening.  That could affect shipments to the US and cause some major issues while we have all kinds of internal problems.

They only did that a long time ago, they don't want to rock the boat now and fiqure that Taiwan will eventually want to be part of China again at some point.  The really loose cannon in the area is Korea.

I'm sure Hong Kong and the Filipino fishermen will be happy to hear that
