Welcome to Weekend Photo Fun

January 22, 2021 through January 24, 2021

All Are Welcome!

It seems that January, 2021 is going to be the month where I share nothing but new acquisitions in Weekend Photo Fun. That is not by design, but just the way it turned out for me.

This week... another awsome eBay score.

A seller put up a set of six different Roundhouse brand undecorated Harriman Style passenger cars.

These are a bit on the shorter side, which should be better for my layout. It is a complete train, but it could use another coach or two.

So now, I have several complete passenger trains.

9 cars of Rivarossi Heavyweights

8 cars of Rivarossi Smooth Side

8 cars of Athearn Heavyweights

5 cars of Branchline Heavyweights

5 cars, all brass, for my Mail Train

And now, these 6 Harriman Cars

Of all of these passenger cars, exactly ZERO of them have been painted. That is right... none. I just cannot get it together to paint passenger trains.

I have three or four extra passenger cars that I painted for the prop fleet, but that is as far as any STRATTON AND GILLETTE passeneger train has made it through production.

OK... the weekend is here... please share your fun photos of layout work, beautiful scenes, works in progress, new neat stuff, or something else.
