It's all wood with some wire pieces added on
Mike: My best guess would be that boxcar was built from a Quality Craft kit. They made a lot of wooden kits for steel equipment like this one.
I also found an example of my AHM gondola in a factory painted version. It does not have any additional detail added from the factory.
