Thanks for getting WPF started again this week, Kevin. That boxcar looks fantastic-- it's amazing how subtle weathering makes the details pop out.
Ed, those are some gorgeous engines-- hope the surgery goes well for both.
I got all the corrugated roofing set in place on the buildings-- no weathering yet, so it's still super bright and reflective:
Side note: my primary camera has been out of commission, so I've been using my tablet's camera, but it seems to have some problem where the hue is skewed green in the center and red at the edges. Not sure what's going on there, but it's really frustrating. It doesn't seem to affect B&W, though:
Love this thread-- looking forward to more this weekend!

Thank you for kicking off this summertime WPF, Kevin
I sure like that "Frisco" inspired B. M. & N. emblem. Nice job
I may get some photos of this week's projects posted at a later time. One chore I had to do was pack up both of my Rapido RS-11s to go in to the Canadian backshop for a motor replacement.
So here's a photo to remember them by:

Welcome to Weekend Photo Fun
July 17, 2020 through July 19, 2020
All Are Welcome!
Here is an opportunity to showcase any recent project or layout progress.
Please feel free to post any model railroad related photos here — past or present. This is a place to share photos of your layout, equipment or current project.
I am happy to be starting Weekend Photo Fun again this week. I simply love this thread and the way it brings people together for sharing Model Railroading fun.
Last week was a very good edition of WPF, and that is always good to see.
I have a new boxcar to share this week. I actually managed to finish something for the first time in a month or so. It is surprising how I have to work to find time to just do some final weathering and spray on some dullcoat.
This is a forty foot boxcar for the imaginary BLEHFORD MILLER AND NANTICOKE railroad. The freight car is built from an Intermountain kit and painted with a custom mixture of Scalecoat II paint. The custom decals were produced by Donald Manlick.
This one has A-Line corner steps and Kadee trucks and couplers.
Please have fun with this thread over the weekend. Share any photo you like, old layout views, new model projects, works in progress, or something else.
Saty safe.
