BRVRR
...More Railroad stations please.

Here's the Grand Valley's Dunnville station, built in the '20s with New York Central's money.  They were also responsible for the grade separation project, but pulled out just before the stockmarket crash in '29....that's my explanation for the lack of ballast.

The structure was mostly scratchbuilt using .060" sheet styrene, with the doors and windows being leftovers from a couple of Walthers Front Street Warehouse kits.

Highlands was a small station in suburban Chicago on the CB&Q . I built mine from an old Magnuson kit, and I nmed it "Valley Heights".

Please show another station.

That's as far as I got with the sampling of bricks...

They look pretty good to me.

Track fiddler
Please carry on with the bricks.

If you drive north on Hwy 6 out of Hamilton, Ontario, it won't take too long before you begin to see a lot of older homes and businesses built with buff-coloured brick.
Since the real town of Mount Forest is within that area, I decided that my version of that town should have some buff-brick structures, too, even though I'm not making any attempt to otherwise model that town prototypically.  Here's the only one there, so-far, the train station, courtesy of Walthers...

Wayne

Anybody got some more brick-a-brac to show us?

...More brick buildings please.

Here's Revell's Weekly Herald building, somewhat modified as the Lowbanks livestock auction house...

...despite its age, Revell did a pretty nice job of the brickwork...

Oops, sorry, no excuse, but got wrapped up in the lead wire tonight adding weight to a boxcar.

Doc Wayne, Thanks for takin' up my slack, never had the pleasure of throwing a leg over a Zundapp, but did own a little Benelli and a Bridgestone for awhile.

More brick work, regards, Peter

Great-looking scene, Peter, but I had to look-up Zundapp.

Turns out there's one for sale right here in town, but I'm not sure that I'd want to return to riding, and certainly not in the temperatures and conditions around here at this time of the year.  Been there, done that.

Since you've shown us such a nice brick building, I'll add another, not quite so nice, but serviceable as the engine house at Lowbanks....

Originally built as a Vollmer three-stall roundhouse, I had to change it into the version shown just to get it to fit on the layout.

Wayne

Can someone show me one of your "brick" structures, please.

The New York Central easily takes care of that...

Let's hope that it's just as e-Z to come up with  ZEE or ZED.
