Its been more than a day since BATMAN requested 'old-time gas pumps.' Here is the Texaco Station in Black River with its 1950s-60s pumps.
More gas stations, please.

DELETED REPLY... picture did not match request.
Brent's request is still valid.

More city scenes, please.
SeeYou190Ed: That looks a lot like the Georgia scene I just posted in the Diner.
Sure does, Kevin. Those overpasses were quite common in the period. I kind of wish the design didn't have such sharp angles on the approaches, although I have seen some steep ones like my model shows. I would have modified it if I were making the kit today.
I believe it is a RIX Products kit.
Carry on, folks!
gmpullmanI guess this could be considered rural:

I got this brass locomotive from another friend...
...who had asked if I would be interested in it. I countered by asking what he wanted for it, to which he replied, "Are you interested or not?" "Yeah," I replied, "depending on what your price might be!" "Geez," he countered, "do you want it or not? I won't sell it to you!". "Alright, I'll take it!".
As with most of my model railroading friends, I enjoy being able to help them out, and they, in return, are ridiculously generous.

The old gray falling down shack in the background is one of those paper printouts. I had just printed it off and my very young daughter (I think she was five) came into the office and asked what that paper with the house on it was for. I said "you cut out the pieces and make a house out of it". She said "can I do it" as she pulled it off the desk, I said "sure", and she came back with it put together a little while later. It has been on the layout ever since.
Please show something a family member contributed.
