Please show some stripes.

Here's CN's "sergeant stripes" on an Atlas C-425....

It's my favourite "modern" paint scheme, but CN never owned such a loco, although they did have a lot of C-424s in that paint.  It's going to the train show in November, hopefully to a new home.

More stripes, please!

Here is a string of ATSF caboose(s), Athearn kits modified per an MR article by Andy Sperandeo many years ago.  The layout is in testing mode, prior to ballasting and scenery........

OK, this may be a stretch......how about something Illinois Central RR related?

Maybe not so much of a stretch. Due to an undertaker's convention, the NYC RR was borrowing all the passenger equipment it could find to handle the traffic!

The most recently "completed" item on my layout is this modified Korber roundhouse....

However, there's no ground cover or details around it, and the turntable needs to be modified to improve its performance.  Both the turntable and the roundhouse are useable, though, and hopefully will look better when their surroundings are done.

At 78" in length, GERN Industries is the largest on my layout, and also the biggest generator of traffic for the railroads serving it....

...the modelled portion represents about 2/3 of the plant's size, not counting the mine, which extends out, under Lake Erie, for about 2.5 miles, and still growing due to the boom in the world's demand for high quality flux.

Any more early TOFC examples out there?

Here are some Flexi-Van cars being switched:

Flexi-Van flats had high speed trucks and steam and signal lines for use in passenger trains for hauling mail and express.

Any more TOFC, container cars?
