Atlas code 55 rail

I built a new N scale train layout with Atlas code 55 flextrack and turnouts. I appreciate the scale accuracy of the track but have a problem running bachmann dash 8-40cs over the frogs. Does anyone else have this problem or a solution? Do I have to buy kato or atlas locomotives?

They sure are nice,
BUT just replace the wheels with ones that are more precise, try Northwest Short Line, listed in MR every months and I am sure that others here can connect you with others.
