Some updates of BLI's HO PRR K4s (Loewy K4s), the following photos of the pre-production model were released on BLI's facebook page on Aug 28. Good news for all PRR fans!

It seems that there will be functional marker lights on the engine and the tender as well, I am not sure if the side skirt is removable or not. The official release date will be before the end of 2019.
On the other hand, BLI confirmed that they are working on an HO scale PRR S1 6-4-4-6 and an HO scale pre-production model has been made, that means it is no longer a rumor! According to the comments on their FB page, a full-scale S1 would be too big to negotiate sharper track in a smaller layout, though I think it is not something that can't be solved. It seems that BLI is also considering making some PRR "Fleet of Modernism" livery cars in HO scale.
Thank you!

Another update for PRR modeler: Bachmann will make new HO 85ft Smooth-Side Coach of PRR "Fleet of Modernism" livery, it will include
85 ft Smooth-Side Coach Car w/Interior Lights,
85 ft Smooth-Side Observation Car w/Interior Lights and
72 ft Smooth-Side Baggage Car.
If Bachmann reuses the old molding, these cars will be de-skirted, the details on them will be historically incorrect as well (wrong length, wrong truck, wrong windows......etc).
Thanks.
They can do an S1, but they can't do a BP20?

Just be glad you don't have to press "2" for English.

They can do both, I will buy both of them!
1X S1 Skirted, 1X S1 de-skirted
BP20 (DGLE 5 golden stripes) , A-B-A set!
: )
If they can make that 6-4-4-6 fit a 22" radius like the T-1, I'm getting one hands down!

It can be done and should be done. Meanwhile, I can see some modelers started selling their O gauge and N gauge S1 on the Bay; though it is not the first time BLI's new product causing brass train modeler "panic selling" their tier 2,3 brass train models.
