Let's see more, please.

.

The only colorful freight cars on the STRATTON AND GILLETTE home road roster are the "Comet Freight" service boxcars.

More Colorful Cars!

.

I have four freight cars lettered for the TURTLE CREEK CENTRAL, but the 50 foot boxcar is the only one that is colorful.

More colorful cars, please.

How about the Gulf Mobile & Ohio!

Rule 1: This is my railroad.

Rule 2: I make the rules.

Rule 3: Illuminating discussion of prototype history, equipment and operating practices is always welcome, but in the event of visitor-perceived anacronisms, detail descrepancies or operating errors, consult RULE 1!

Kevin: "Show me a freight car that is only painted one color."

Here are two cars painted NYC Jade Green. Not the best photo in the collection, but it should do.

More colorful cars, please.

Colorful boxcars seem to be popular. More, please.

.

I found a colorful GREAT NORTHERN boxcar on the Georgia S-Scalers portable layout.

.

Sorry for the wierd angle of the photograph. The plexiglass barrier was covered with fingerprints, so I had to shoot over it. That is one of the advantages of being so freakishly tall I guess.

.

.

Show me another boxcar that is not any sort or red or brown.

Do these count?

Nice cars, but I dunno...they're actually refrigerator cars, not boxcars.

There's no way that I can chime-in with my boxcars, either, as there are probably over a hundred of them, all boxcar red of one shade or another.  It was a very popular colour for boxcars in the '30s.

Edit:  Wait!  I misspoke!!  I had forgotten about this CNR express boxcar...

Show me more colourful boxcars, please, and not the boxcar red/brown ones, either, please.

I'm guessing all black (technically not a color), excepting lettering, qualifies...

Jarrell's Show Me Something: September 2019
Posted by SeeYou190 on Sunday, September 1, 2019 3:19 PM

Welcome to the September 2019

"Show Me Something"

Dedicated to the originator, Jarrell

This is a place where forum members can post their photographs featuring a view of a "requested" scene or object.

If you show the item requested you can then make a request of your own, or choose to stay with the current request.

After 24 hours, the same rules apply, or you can post a new photo of your choosing and make a new request. Your photos should be of models only, not a "real-life" scene. It's all about having fun! Let's see those photos!

All photographs should be original photographs taken my the person that posts them. If the model work is not your own, please give credit to the person or group that made the models.

The last request was made by Ed:
