I retired two years ago, and have loved every single day! I talked to someone last week who said they would never retire because they couldn't stand not to stay busy. I just laughed and thought to myself how many railroad structures I can work on every day.
For those of you not retired, save every penny you can. You will greatly enjoy hitting hobby shops in the middle of the day and having the dollars to buy the locomotives you couldn't afford before.

Well......I still write "WELCOME" in huge letters on my job .
Hey...wait a minute.....what wrong with the funny farm? What do you have against it?! Everybody here is perfectly normal! Just ask them:
riogrande5761 Welcome back to the funny farm! Where people post little yellow icons with welcome signs. I wonder if they do that in real life?

Welcome back! Good seeing you here again.
Hopefully you still have your locomotives and rolling stock. Have your modeling themes and goals changed over the years?
Welcome back!
