I am looking for drawing for a Canadian Pacific 4-6-2 G-5. This locomotive looks like the the right locomotive for a branchline. Gary
I could not find any photos of the G5, they were first made in 1944 up to 1948 and they made 102 locomotives, they look very different than earlier locos G1-2-3-4, good luck on your search.
No idea where you would find diagrams but we have a couple forum members who are into customizing their steam, so they may know
Pics I can find.

Ah yes, looking for drawings. The OP has the same resources at his fingure tips as all of us have in previous "looking for drawings" threads.
Do some searching around.

There's some data HERE, along with some photos at the bottom of that page, and some more photos HERE
I did a search for G-3 and G-5 Pacifics, because I recall reading somewhere that they were built roughly in conjunction with one another - modern steam locomotives suited to different purposes.
I'm sure that more searches of a similar type will yield even more information.
