Permascene

Does anyone know where I can buy Permascene through the mail or over the web? None of the Wal-Marts around here have it and the closeset hobby shop of any size is 350 miles away. It appears to create the texture I'm looking for unlike hydrocal.

I believe at one time Walthers listed PermaScene in the catalog; I don't see it now, but pehaps one of the mail-order outfits - such as Caboose Hobbies - can help you.

Also, you might consider Sculptamold; it's similar to PermaScene. I use it over Hydrocal and plaster gauze forms routinely. It has great texture, can be used to "paste" castings in place, and is easily colored while being mixed.
