Privatisation of PNQ
Posted by GDRMCo on Friday, December 24, 2004 4:18 AM
This is a article from the G&A Corporate News.
"December has brought change in Australia as Queenslands second largest carrier has begun privatisation. PNQ will no longer be under G&A's control but the two RR's will continue as corporate partners. PNQ has been renamed Pacific North Rail Corporation and will continue to operate as a passenger operator and locomotive and rolling stock leasing operation. Locomotives in PNR's roster will be GE-UN CV40-9i's and GDRMB GT42AC's. A corporate logo and an artists rendering of a GT42AC have been released and can be found at: http://www.railimages.com/albums/micklegg/aeo.gif
