Wiring a activation switch
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, December 22, 2004 8:06 PM
I am still learning about this hobby. When my son was two we bought a set and every year we add something to it. Last year we bought a crossing gate but we were not able to set up the train (we only do at Chrismas for now). This year I got a activation switch but have no idea how to wire it to the gate. The switch is a mth1037. HELP ME PLEASE[:(]

[#welcome] to the forum.

I guess it would help to have a little more information. Dealing with electrical issues can be a bit tricky, but it can be done. What kind of train do you have? 3 rail O like Lionel would be my guess. If that is the case, you might want to repost this question on the Classic Toy Trains forum, and give more details.

Can you describe the MTH 1037? I looked in the MTH catalog but didn't see it.
