It has been more than 24 hours and no more unusual freight cars.

.

OK... how about perfectly ordinary freight cars to get the thread moving again?

.

.

Show me another perfectly ordinary freight car.

More unusual freight cars, please.

.

This is cheating, but here are some compressed gas vessel cars on the Florida Lego Modeler's layout:

.

.

I love the NPR container in the foreground of this picture. One has to consider all the things that could be in there. If it is empty you might say it is full of fresh air. Maybe it is full of the morning edition. Wait Wait... don't tell me... it is probably full of splendid things for the table.

.

Big Smile OK that is enough of that (for now).

.

Since I cheated, we will keep the same request in place. Please show me more unusual freight cars.

Lone Wolf and Santa Fe
Please show me first responders, police, fire dept, paramedics, etc.

.

Nifty caboose Lone Wolf! Certainly not ordinary.

.

Here is another scene from the Scale Rails of Southwest Florida N-Trak modular layout with a building on fire and first responders on the scene.

.

.

This seems like a good theme for a while.

.

Show me please more first responders, police, fire dept, or paramedics again.

This NYC wide vision caboose is an Athearn BB kit. I modified it some by applying .005-inch clear styrene for window glazing and installing metal wheels and lighting.

More cabooses/ cabeese please.

Show me your favorite caboose.

.

That is easy. My favorite caboose is this little transfer caboose. It is a brass model of a MKT prototype that was imported by Lambert.

.

.

Show my another special, or favorite, caboose.

They don't have to be living, do they?

Here's one outside the lead smelting plant. Funny, it looked just fine last summer...

GW figures this Pacific Mustang might make a good mine engine once he's broke--the way he had to fight to ge him out of his hidey-hole. That's a tree behind him.
