Disappearing Thread

Well I have tried to post a thread twice about open houses at MRR Clubs and both have disappeared about as fast as they were created.

So I figured I had broken one of the rules and that's why the threads were deleted. I guess they classified the topic of my thread as "advertising" being that it was for announcing MRR Club events.

I see in the rules there is a upcoming events area to post that to where do I find that???

You should have received an email explanation for the reason your announcements were deleted but apparently you didn't receive them.

 

The forum rules prohibit the use of the forum for promoting train shows and open houses that you have personal affiliation or invovement with.  However, Trains.com does provide a "Coming Events" web page for announcements, which is found here:

And you can submit the information about your model railroad club's open house here:
