Hi I have been trying to find a HO scale model of Espee's three cylinder I really don't want to buy expensive brass, any help?

Sure.

You can buy cheap brass.

The cheapest I can find is a Max Gray, which should be $300 or less.

Next up is a Westside for another $100.  Or less.  I just looked at a picture, and it's a nice looking model.  I'd probably look for one of these if I were you.  One sold on Ebay last month for $328.

I didn't say I found one for sale.  I said I had found one that had recently sold.  Here's the link:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Westside-brass-HO-Southern-Pacific-4-10-2-5011-weathered-W-crew-hobo-DC-motor/182777466335?hash=item2a8e62cddf:g:S78AAOSwBgtZwei8

If you're gonna combine "inexpensive" with "right now", you'll have minimal results.  I recommend patience.  If you'd started looking two months ago, you could have bid, too.

If it's just a 4-10-2 you want, the UP version seems more common.

Sorry Ed I though there was one you saw for sale I'll keep looking. By the way I'm looking for the SP version.
