SHOW ME SOMETHING!
September, 2017
Welcome to the September "Show Me Something" thread! This is a place where forum members can post their photos containing a view of the "requested" scene or object.
No "real-life" photos but models only. After 24 hours, if the requested scene is not posted anyone is welcome to make their own submission and make their own request. It's all about having fun!
The last request was for a combine. Here a combine is at the tail end of the daily mixed train crossing the Mill Creek Trestle on the Munsee Valley Railroad.

How about one of each. The NYBW Consolidation is making a facing point set out at the auto parts warehouse as the Munsee Valley daily mixed train is pulling up to the platform at Bedford Falls. The two will swap some cars in the adjacent interchange yard and the NYBW peddler freight will be on its way. The Munsee Valley mixed train will be turned and begin its return trip to the terminus at Willoughby.
Let's keep with the same theme. Short freights or mixed trains.
Here's a short video of a mixed train, done as a test...

More short or mixed trains, please.

Please show one or more EMD SD unit(s).
After a long, hard process I finally managed to complete my first custom locomotive with a fantasy paint scheme. Near the end, the thing decided to fight me tooth and nail, particularly when I was trying to put the shell back on the chassis. All in all, I am very proud of myself for this accomplishment. Is it perfect? Of heck no, but for a first time I think it could have been a lot worse.

I love your Tyco stockyard loading pen. It looks very nice. On my railroad moving cattle by rail has been out of date for a long time so my loading pen is full of tumble weeds instead of cows.
Please show me cattle.
