Lone Wolf and Santa Fe
That car is from the 1st Mad Max movie. Right?

.

It was at the end of Mad Max (1979), in that movie it is called the Pursuit Special of the Main Force Patrol. It is in almost the entire second Mad Max movie commonly known as The Road Warrior (1981). This is the movie where it is called the last of the V8 interceptors. I hoped the car would make at least a cameo appearance in Fury Road (2015), but it did not.

.

The model is made by Stan Johansen Miniatures of Fort Pierce Florida. It is cast in resin as nine pieces. They make a lot of Post-Apocalyptic model cars.

.

I added the "Starsky & Hutch" stripes and Australian flag because I just do not like all black models.

.

Love the Partidge Family bus. Did you paint it?

Show me some trains and vehicles in the same scene, please.

.

Here is a freight passing by an unusual group of vehicles. One of them is the "Last of the V-8 Interceptors, Mate."

.

.

OK, this is a harder one... Someone else post a train with a recognizable vehicle from a movie or TV show. Don't take the easy way out and get a Hot Wheels Batmobile, lets see something really interesting. Maybe one of you custom painted Snowman's tractor/trailer from Smokey and the Bandit or something!

.

I hope I didn't kill this thread with only 4 days left in the month, LOL.

.

By the way... Yes, those two STRATTON & GILLETTE freight cars took a long magical ferry ride to get to post-apocolyptic Australia! I wish I had a kangaroo to add to the scene.

.

Show me a train with a recognizable vehicle from a movie or TV show. You have 24 hours... Let's see it!

Here's the Erie Northshore's "BEE" with a reefer in-tow...

With mail, express, passengers, and freight, it's definitely a mixed train.

While the "BEE" has only a single powered truck, it can handle up to a dozen cars, much more than would be prototypical, especially on my 3.5% grades.

Show me some trains and vehicles in the same scene, please.

I already posted two other versions of this scene on WPF. The curved trestle is a customized version of a straight trestle that I believe was sold by IHC. I thought it was still available through another company but Walthers isn't showing it.

The train is a mixed train with a trailing combine out of view of the camera.

Show me a mixed train.

This is an Eastern Car Works 3500CF DryFlow Covered Hopper Kit, but it is more like a kitbash in a box.

All the pieces out of the kit, which is essentially two of the 2600CF Airslide kits with a new roof and frame section. The Airslide parts needed to be cut apart to make two new longer sides. (and they were warped beyond belief).

The new sides with the left over pieces shown.

The finished car after a lot of work!

More kit built, kitbashed or scratchbuilt models please!

Well, this isn't from a kit, so it's definitely not kitbashed from two or more kits, either.  I didn't even scratchbuild it, so I guess it must be a model that I sorta detailed and, hopefully, it'll look like it's been upgraded."
I started with a Rivarossi diner, found on the "used" table at my LHS for just a few bucks.  After cutting a piece out of the middle, I glued it back together, plugged a few windows, then added a baggage door on each side...

It has a basic interior, but still needs a few passengers and perhaps a conductor to stand in the open vestibule having a smoke...

Show me another something that you detailed, upgraded, kitbashed, or scratchbuilt.

After 10 hours without reply, the kit bash request seems to have run its course.

Please show anything you made from a kit, or scratch built, or kit bashed.

Or show a model you detailed or upgraded.

Here is a 65 Ton 2-Bay Hopper car that I kitashed out of a 100 Ton 3 Bay Greenville Hopper Kit.

The Greenville car after I cut it apart.

The finished car using Mark Vaughn's decals for this car.

A comparison shot of the 65 Ton NYC car and a standard 50 Ton 2 Bay Hopper.
