An incredibly realistic scene, DrWayne. I thought I was looking at the prototype. Only the lack of wires between the utility poles gave it away. Fine craftsmanship!
Not a speeder, but a track inspection car. Mine was made from a Sylvan kit, but I couldn't find any suitable wheels. The ones shown were punched from sheet styrene, but I didn't have a big enough punch...
It's based on one used by the prototype TH&B, although theirs was a Chrysler. It had an interior jack in the centre of the vehicle, and when lowered, it raised the car off the tracks, allowing the operator and a helper to turn it around.

It was at the end of Mad Max (1979), in that movie it is called the Pursuit Special of the Main Force Patrol. It is in almost the entire second Mad Max movie commonly known as The Road Warrior (1981). This is the movie where it is called the last of the V8 interceptors. I hoped the car would make at least a cameo appearance in Fury Road (2015), but it did not.
The model is made by Stan Johansen Miniatures of Fort Pierce Florida. It is cast in resin as nine pieces. They make a lot of Post-Apocalyptic model cars.
I added the "Starsky & Hutch" stripes and Australian flag because I just do not like all black models.
Love the Partidge Family bus. Did you paint it?

Don't take the easy way out and get a Hot Wheels Batmobile, lets see something really interesting. Maybe one of you custom painted Snowman's tractor/trailer from Smokey and the Bandit or something!

By the way... Yes, those two STRATTON & GILLETTE freight cars took a long magical ferry ride to get to post-apocolyptic Australia! I wish I had a kangaroo to add to the scene.

Here's the Erie Northshore's "BEE" with a reefer in-tow...
With mail, express, passengers, and freight, it's definitely a mixed train.
While the "BEE" has only a single powered truck, it can handle up to a dozen cars, much more than would be prototypical, especially on my 3.5% grades.

I already posted two other versions of this scene on WPF. The curved trestle is a customized version of a straight trestle that I believe was sold by IHC. I thought it was still available through another company but Walthers isn't showing it.
The train is a mixed train with a trailing combine out of view of the camera.

This is an Eastern Car Works 3500CF DryFlow Covered Hopper Kit, but it is more like a kitbash in a box.
All the pieces out of the kit, which is essentially two of the 2600CF Airslide kits with a new roof and frame section. The Airslide parts needed to be cut apart to make two new longer sides. (and they were warped beyond belief).
