Hi all,
Anyone have any experience renumbering Kadee hoppers? They offer their gorgeous coal hopper in the Reading steam era roman lettering, and only with one road number. I'd like a few for my collection, and renumbering pre-painted cars would be much easier, and quicker, then lettering undecorated cars.

This comes up a lot. Try doing a search in the community, on the right side of this page. Some have had good luck just slowly going at it with a pencil eraser.
You shouldn't have to remove all the numbers, just one or two.
You could always "patch" a number or two, if you don't mind the patched look.
