Searching the Forums - Am I Missing Something?
Posted by Bay Area Brad on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 12:23 PM

Howdy -

So, is there a "Search" dialog that works on just searching the Forum posts? I am asking because most forums I have used prior had a dedicated Search function. I see the search dialog for the Banner area at the top of the page, but testing this shows it returns results for the entire MRR site.

I also know from experience (and reading a few post here and other forums) that forum vets can get tired of answering the same question multiple times. But, there is way too much to just slog through browsing when you are trying to get down-and-dirty answers and get back to the real fun of railroading.

Let me know if I'm missing something. It wouldn't be the first time! ;-)

Brad, look on the right hand column, scroll down to "Search the community".  Not sure how good it does, but it will search the forums, and not the entire magazine.
