Need some help wth my AHM gg1
Posted by DAVID FORTNEY on Friday, February 17, 2017 7:10 PM

One of the drive wheels on my AHM GG1 has come apart. They are made in two pieces and I was wondering what is the best way to fix it?

Did the two pieces just  snapped together  or were they glued?

Wheels made by Rivarossi were pressed together. I've come across a bad wheel or two, and super glue has been enough to hold them together.

Was that the old GG-1 with the pancake motors inside. They ran real quietly, and smoothly. But they do not run on subways, to they are now religated to a static display of NYP. (I have two of the things, one in red with five, and the other in Black with worms.)

[worms means "PC"]

Thanks guys for the advise guys.

Lion, yes it is the older gg1 with the pancake motor. Runs just fine when the wheel came apart

i have every paint scheme of the gg1 by Rivarossi IHC, MEHANO, AHM. Only prototypical paint schemes.
