Photobucket problem
Posted by yankee flyer on Monday, February 6, 2017 2:37 PM

I hope some one will be able to give me a little insite into photobucket.

I have noticed that for sometime now, when I click on the address My ablum opens up.

Is this normal?

I tried to do a password change according to their instrutions but it would not complete the operation.  Sigh Why?

Now when I click on the bookmark, nothing happens and I get a flag saying "error has occurred". I can't even get the web site to come up.

I even tried copy and paste, no luck.

Bang Head

Probbly not something you Guys can help with, just thought I would give it a try.

Thanks

Lee

I just tried photo bucket. Not responding.

I get the below.

Sorry, an unexpected error occurred.

Don't tell me I knocked out Photobucket!!! Smile, Wink & Grin

Lee

ps: when I was working with photobucket I did get one of those scams that says your computer has a virus go to "this site"

That's my cue to reach down and kill the power to everything.

Maybe Photobucket has a virus?

Good day.

I could never get photobucket to work for me.  Someone suggested railimages at trainboard.com.  I'm using Trainboard now and it's easy.  No problems, and they don't bombard your inbox with emails.

Here's a link: http://www.trainboard.com/highball/index.php

I still use photo bucket but it has gone down hill the past few years.

Someone here posted issues with it about two or three months ago.

No issues with W10 or Linux PC. W10 has good anti virus and I use pop up blockers, flash blockers and no script in my PC's. Linux does not need anti virus.

I get an ad once in a while from them to buy something but it now goes into Spam.

Right now, I have three windows open in Firefox and one is for photo bucket and no responce yet. Most probably a server issue.

I just find it very strange that when I got that "scam thing" while trying to change my password, that is when everything crashed.

Is there a virus on Photobucket?

Cheers

The site might have crashed as I still cannot get cannot get the site.

Is the scam thing from your anti virus?

Photo Bucket words shows up at the top of the no connection page.

I am at downdetector.com and they say down at 3:12 PM EST, today.

They show previous down times.

Photobucket's site is having problems. It happens every now and again. When it happens, I just wait a while.

It's been down frequently way more often than they list.  It's an unreliable site.

Sorry about that, I meant to say unplanned. Old age strikes again.

The maintenance must've gone okay, as it's working fine now:
