Another excellent episode of Monday Morning Express by BRASSTRAINS.COM If you haven't seen one yet, I highly recommend it! Episodes 3 and 4 are outstanding.

Hey John:
Thanks for the link! The brass stuff is out of my reach but I can dream for free!

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
While I haven't found very much that interests me from the project announcements given during the interview segments of the show, I have enjoyed the behind-the-scenes material and information.

Time...It marches on...without ever turning around to see if anyone is even keeping in step.
Thanks for the reminder. I probably am never going to be a brass guy, but I enjoy the professional nature of their videos and it gives me insight to another part of the hobby. The latest Walthers video was shot by a guy who had trouble holding the camera still to photograph a stationary boxcar.

Henry,
Maybe he was just trying to mimick what's been in vogue on TV and in movies over the past few years: The camera has to keep moving so that you think you're really part of the action or conversation.
This new series is a major "Holy Whatever!!". I've known Dan since 2003, and knew he was quite articulate and professional in every aspect...but this? Beyond my imagination and then some!!!!
The only thing I could possibly fault would be the perceived opulence and possible high cost of brass bringing it out of the hands of most modelers. In a sense this is true, but when it comes to value, brass is hard to beat. Besides being actual works of fine art, they if maintained will be played with by our great grand kids and most likely theirs. Plastic or die cast counterparts?????
Dan, keep up the fine work and as I once told you, you'd become the largest and finest brass dealer on the planet.

My only advice for Dan is that he doesn't have to smile the entire video, it looks a little strange.
Actually, Henry, I don't care much for the technique. IIRC, the movie "Cloverfield" was filmed in an identical fashion. I think I watched the first 10 min. before I got nauseated and turned it off.
