There was a modeler who posted free signs and pics on one of the sites on here. Does he and still do this, if so how do I find them. Thanks Jim.
His screen name is tomkat-13. Here is a link to one of his recent posts.

Joe and anybody else who might be interested:
If you want to make a link to a forum thread clickable, open the thread in a second window, highlight the link at the top of the page, and hold down the 'Ctrl' key while hitting the letter 'c'. That will copy the link. The background will turn blue.
Then, go to the thread in the first window where you want to post your link, type your message, hit 'Enter', and then hold down the 'Ctrl' key and hit the letter 'v'. That will post the link to your message. However, in order to may the link work you must type "[ u r l ]" in front of the link WITHOUT the quotation marks or spaces. Then go the the end of the link and type"[ / u r l ]", again without the quotation marks and without spaces. Then hit 'Enter' to go to the next line. When you submit your post the link should show up as an active link in blue letters. It doesn't show as being active until you submit your post.
It sounds more complicated than it is. By the way, the reason I couldn't type out the brackets and letters as they should appear is that the program interprets those combinations of characters to be commands, not printed text. If you type them without the spaces and quotation marks they won't show up.
It may not be necessary to open a second window but that's the only way I know how to do it.

Dave
I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
Thanks for the info Dave. I edited my post with your information and it worked. A pleasant learning experience.

Here is the link for the first sets of signs. Just copy & past the jpg file to your computer. You can re-size for different scales in MS Publisher, MS Word or program of your choice. You can print on paper, card stock, or for metal signs photo paper. I have not tried decal paper but it should work also. For older or faded signs you can use an off-white card stock. I use two sided tape but you can use white glue or glue of choice.
