Any info on Steve King's VM?
Posted by KBCpresident on Thursday, September 8, 2016 11:19 PM

Hello all,

I have been looking up information on Steve king's Virginia Midland. As I understand it is the last of the  fabled "appalachean lines" in operation. I was able to read quite a bit about it on two blog posts:

and

http://centralvermontrailway.blogspot.com/2015/05/operating-virginia-midland.html

Does anyone know any more informatino about it? Has he painted anymore locomotives? Does anyone have photographs of the VM? I'm very curious, but information seems very difficult to find. There is a blog dedicated to a "Virginia Midland" but it is HO, teh paint scheme is differnet, and I am fairly certain it is a different model railroad. Alos, in the first link, many of the locomotives apear to have a white tag on this, but otherwise undecorated. Could that be masking tape with locomotive number on it?

Thanks!
