Welcome to the September Show Me Something thread. A place to have fun with scenes of our model railroad empires and make requests for someone to "Show Me A ...?"
Last Month's Thread:
http://cs.trains.com/mrr/f/88/t/257841.aspx
The last request was for your least favorite scene.
I had to dig quite a bit and I finally came up with a construction scene. Least favorite because I couldn't RUN TRAINS!
Show me a city scene...

My #1 railfan. My first cat Chessie (named after Chessie System) used to love to curl up on the basement stairs to watch me and the trains. Hard to believe it's been six years now since I lost him.

Chessie looks like he's ready to pounce on something! I'll have to find the photo of my former layout "helper" and get it posted.
For now, here's my other Chessie. A 1.6" scale, 7-1/2" gauge GP50 on the day of delivery.
...and out on the main:
Show me something from the Chessie System or former roads.
C&O and B&O hoppers that I painted, decalled and weathered
Show me something from a New England railroad
George In Midcoast Maine, 'bout halfway up the Rockland branch
This is the only Chessie System car I own, although I have a number of B&O, C&O and WM Cars.
Trains and livestock, can't see this right now as this portion of the club layout has been removed to facilitate rebuilding the block wall behind the farm location. When the contractor excavated he found the drain tile that was originally installed for the foundation was not done correctly and broken in various places, so they are replacing that also which will hopefully take care of the water problems we have been having over the past few years.
