I have two Life-Like 0-4-0 Steam Shunters, one Sth.Pacific bought recently with some body damage but running well . With damage repaired, a better 0-4-0 Switcher would be hard to find. It pulls a big load, and never stalls on Atlas Diamond Crossings .The latest one is the Pennyslvania model T234,bought this week, in it's original box,not run for decades. On test it ran easily backwards, but stalled on forwards very noisy . Some application of electronic cleaner, and a little oil brought some results, but later locked up on forward. In the event of any of the nylon gears being damaged,I wondered if any spare parts were available?.At present I have only removed the boiler, and would not proceed further, without taking it to my buddy "the train doctor" . Thanks for any advice. Owen Sunshine Express
