I moved!
Posted by Darth Santa Fe on Saturday, December 12, 2015 1:47 PM

Ok, so this was actually a couple months back, but I've moved to a new home! I haven't had much time for the railroad lately since I've been doing quite a bit of housework, unpacking and such, but now I finally have more basement space (the MRR's dream, right?)! Eventually, I'm hoping to expand my layout with new sections so I can finally have longer runs and a bit more room for my "big engines".Big Smile

It's been a lot of work getting everything organized to the point that I can get my trains back out, but it shouldn't be long before I can finally get back to working on some projects. I also found that there's another railroader in the neighborhood, so I'm finally not the only one in my area with an interest.Smile

We had an early snowfall a few weeks back.

Bigger basement is better.  From your forum name I thought you were in Santa Fe, but not much snow there.  Where, as city and state, is home?

Darth

Happy to see that you have more space for your creative efforts. I'm glad that you will be getting back to projects soon. I always enjoy following your innovative projects.

It's over in Normal Illinois, about 1/2 mile from where I was.  I've lived in the Bloomington/Normal area for most of my life, so it was at least an easy move.

The "Santa Fe" in my screen name comes from the railroad rather than the location. Always liked the warbonnet!

Guess I don't have to ask where the Darth came from Smile, Wink & GrinLaugh; we probably will be doing the same thing in a couple of weeks. My son is even buying the tickets!
