Has anybody tried out the dsp80 system or has there been a review on this system?
No experience here. Heard it woirks pretty well, but the cost and complications of set-up really only make it an alternative for situations where sound decoders and speakers won't fit. Even in N, this is less of an issue. Obviously, a bigger better speaker porvides better quality sound.
Saw one place where it said "will only work with Digitrax systems with BDL168 and transponding..."
So it's really a relatively specialized device for where cheaper solutions don't work.
